Scope
Jayberry Japan is a Japanese conglomerate in the ski-fields of Hakuba. Over the years, they have operated a series of businesses including: ski hire, car rental, restaurants, accommodation, timber sourcing and construction, many of which needed novel software solutions to match the increased demand they were seeing.
To this end, in 2017, a series of websites, booking services, and e-commerce solutions were commissioned under Harry's old company, Iris Industries.
Outcomes
- E-commerce sites and backend solutions were provided for the ski hire, car hire, and restaurant businesses.
- Booking systems to track rentals and user orders were created for the ski hire, car hire and restaurant businesses.
- Landing pages were designed for the remaining businesses, which resulted in an increase in sales.
- The software solution was designed in a way that products were configurable by JayBerry with minimal ongoing developer interaction.
- The software supported Jayberry for 5-6 years, at which time, Harry wasn’t able to maintain it anymore as a sole developer, and recommended that the company seek out a new technical specialist.
